The Georgia Wine Producers (GWP) is a 501(c)(6) organization organized to promote, protect and further, in every lawful manner, the common interests of the Members and the wine producers in Georgia.  For income tax purposes, member dues and other cash contributions paid to GWP may be deductible as necessary and ordinary business expenses under the Internal Revenue Code. GWP provides historical information regarding the percentage of all dues/contributions paid to GWP which were utilized for non-deductible political and lobbying activities.  All persons are advised that the percentages of dues/contributions they paid to GWP as shown below by calendar year are non-deductible for income tax purposes.
